The Pleasures (Neo Glamrock, Glitterpunk, Leatherpop)
22.11.2026 Brakula, Hamburg
Doch wo sind all jene Bands heute?
Einlass: 18:30h
Beginn: 19:00h
Keine Vortband, 100 % The Pleasures

In the early 2000s, a massive hype surrounding new glam rock bands swept across Europe. Britain and Scandinavia, in particular, produced dazzling bands that were unrivaled when it came to theatricality, showmanship, and glitter. But where are all those bands today? After countless shows both at home and abroad, THE PLEASURES are still going strong in 2026 and are coming to the Brakula for an exclusive club show! They have played major gigs alongside glam rock icons such as Hanoi Rocks, Tuff, and (the surviving members of) T. Rex. Audiences can look forward to a high-energy stage show featuring instruments that literally "burn," tight spandex pants, big colorful teased hair, tons of glitter, and a host of hits from their albums. It might remind some of "Boy George after a stage fire" (as one Berlin club magazine put it) or a fast-paced version of *The Rocky Horror Picture Show*—and that is exactly the point: a wild night to remember.
